In support of our mission to honour military service, past and present, and promote a greater understanding of the legacy of military service in Edmonton and northern Alberta, our public programs include group tours, youth and educational programs both on and off site, and special events that we hold at our facility. We also have a limited capability to participate with other groups or organizations in various off-site events which support our mission.
Group Tours
The museum welcomes groups, such as school field trips, cadet corps, senior’s residences, etc., to visit our exhibits. If you are considering bringing your group to our museum there are several options for you to consider.
One is to go through the museum on your own. There is no admission fee although donations are appreciated. If you are considering a walk-through tour, especially if you have a large group (over family size), we recommend that you contact us in advance to ensure that there are no conflicts with large groups or events.
Another option would be a guided tour as described in the document at the link below. The document also includes a link to a form which you can use to request a booking. We normally need at least three weeks’ notice.
